Advertising & Sponsorship Policy

Last updated: August 2, 2026

This policy describes how Sheryl Bravo, operator of depplo.com/, handles advertising, sponsorships, and paid partnerships, and how they relate to our editorial content.

1. Types of Paid Relationships

  • Display Advertising: banner and native ad units served through third-party ad networks.
  • Affiliate Commissions: commissions earned when readers click affiliate links and complete a qualifying action. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
  • Sponsored Content: articles or placements paid for directly by a brand or partner.
  • Sponsored Rankings: promoted placement within a “best of” or comparison list, distinct from our organic editorial ranking.

2. Disclosure Standards

In accordance with FTC guidance, any content that is sponsored, paid for, or materially influenced by a third party beyond a standard affiliate commission will be clearly and conspicuously labeled as “Sponsored,” “Promoted,” “Advertisement,” or similar, at or near the top of the content.

3. Editorial Independence

Sponsors and advertisers do not receive editorial approval rights over review scores, rankings, or article conclusions. We reserve the right to decline any advertising or sponsorship arrangement that would compromise editorial integrity.

4. Ad Placement Standards

We do not knowingly place ads that are deceptive, malicious, or that mimic Site content in a way that misleads readers. We use reasonable efforts to vet advertising partners and remove ads reported to us as harmful or fraudulent.

5. Partner Inquiries
