Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and similar laws in other U.S. states, residents have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information, including certain data shared with advertising and analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising.
What Counts as “Sale” or “Sharing”
Like many publishers, we work with advertising and affiliate technology partners who may receive certain identifiers (such as cookie IDs or IP addresses) to serve relevant ads and measure affiliate conversions. Under CCPA/CPRA, this may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, even though no money changes hands for your data directly.
How to Opt Out
You can opt out of this data sharing by:
- Adjusting the cookie preferences via our cookie consent banner (where available) and disabling advertising/analytics cookies;
- Emailing admin@depplo.com with the subject line “CCPA Opt-Out Request,” including your name and the email address associated with your Site activity, if applicable;
- Calling us at ;
- Using a recognized opt-out preference signal (such as Global Privacy Control), where supported by our systems.
Verification
We may need to verify your request before processing it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of the agent’s authorization and verification of your identity.
